- PGBC performed under contract with SBA headquarters for two years as an authorized Private Certifier (PC). As a PC we provided training and assistance to the Small Disadvantaged and Women Owned business community in obtaining appropriate Certifications.
- PGBC provides seasoned consulting of the highest quality to businesses. We have helped numerous businesses successfully through the tedious and frustrating processes of government contracting and certifications. Our own personal experiences give us a sensitivity to our clients needs and a realistic approach to knowing first hand what it takes to succeed.
- PGBC worked under contract with the SBA Office Of Minority Enterprise Development in identifying and providing training workshops on understanding government requirements for proposal preparation and other contract administration and audit requirements.
- PGBC worked under contract/grant with the SBA Office of Procurement & Grants Management to provide target specific training during the National Minority Contractor Convention in Washington D.C.
- PGBC worked under a grant sponsored by the Appalachian Regional Council (ARC) and the Alabama Small Business Development Consortium (ASBDC) to identify and provide target specific training and one on one consulting to small disadvantaged businesses.
- Paul Gunn has appeared on local and cable television to discuss Government Certification information and other options for women owned and small disadvantaged businesses.
- Paul Gunn has served as guest speaker for numerous civic organizations to the small disadvantaged and woman owned business community.
- PGBC has been recognized with numerous meritorious service, appreciation and excellence awards in striving to improve the quality of life of the small disadvantaged and women owned business community.
